Welcome to one of the most traditional fun runs in Hamburg. The International Wilhelmsburg Island Run takes you across Europe's largest inland island – past community gardens, towards the Dove Elbe, along the dike, and back to the finish line via roads and country paths. Every finisher receives the popular Railway Medal at the finish, honoring the founding fathers of the Railway Sports Club Unity of 1908 e.V. The Wilhelmsburg Island Run will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, with the starting signal for the Elbinsel Half Marathon (21.0975 km) at 08:50 AM.
